Since I learnt about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for last a year which often makes me confused and crazy, I found some interest thing. Just for you know I have been learn SEO just from another blog post, newsletters and e-books. And I’ll try to share to you what I’ve learn so far about SEO.

Basically SEO divided on two chapters. There are:

I. ON PAGE OPTIMIZATION
This chapter is focused on blog itself. And these are two main elements of On Page Optimization: Blog Attribute and Content Attribute
A. Blog Attribute
1. Domain Name. Even almost all SEO experts told if domain name is no longer affect on SEO but I think it’s still important to choose domain name based on targeted keyword.
2. Blog Name. Blog name might be different with domain name. But it’s much better if you choose a blog name which similar with your domain name and contain keyword.
3. Meta Tag. Just like domain name, almost all SEO experts have been suggest to forget meta tag in SEO. But I think there’s no reason to abandon meta tag in SEO. Just nothing to lose add meta tag in your blog, right?
4. Design & Lay Out Blog. Now all blog themes mostly have been SEO friendly but I think we should check out your blog theme code and fix the error code to make it more SEO friendly.
5. Picture. Do you know if we can optimize our blog in Search Engine Result Page (SERP) with pictures which we attach inside our blog post. Just put an ALT and TITLE attribute of your pictures for not more than 40 characters long.
6. HTML Attrubute. This is related to HTML heading tag structure. The heading tag structure such as H-1, H-2, H-3 will be more valuable on search engine crawler.

B. Content Attribute
1. Keyword. It’s all about word or phrase which became an anchor text for blog. Keyword is so important because Search Engine Result Page is always depends on blog keyword.
2. Keyword Summarize. Total amount of keywords in one blog post is important. There should be 2-5 keywords on one blog post. But please be careful because too much keyword in one blog post is also dangerous because it could be become spam content by search engine.
3. Keyword Variation. Don’t repeat your targeted keyword in your blog post. It could be indicated as spam content. Make some variations of your targeted keywords and spread it along your blog post.
4. Keyword Position. There was a guide which told if keyword supposed to be in the first sentence in every paragraph. But I think it must better to spread the keyword over your blog post.

II. OFF PAGE OPTIMIZATION
This chapter is focus on some things outside the blog. And here are some things you should know about Off Page Optimization. And all of them related to backlink.
1. Backlink Summarize.
2. Backlink Quality.
3. Natural Backlink.
