One of the most important in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is backlink. In SEO backlink is include in Off Page Optimization. The more your blog/site has backlinks, the more better result your blog in Search Engine Result Page (SERP).

According to Wikipedia, backlink (or backlinks (UK)) are incoming links to a website or webpage. Why backlinks is so important for blog/site? It’s all because backlink is the main factor to count a pagerank. If your blog/site has a lot of backlinks from another blog/site which has higher pagerank than yours it will raise your blog/site pagerank.

These are some thing which relevant with backlink and I think you should know:
1. Incoming link. Also known as inbound link, inlink and inward link. Basically incoming link is a link from another blog/site which pointed to your blog/site.
2. One-way backlink. This backlink is a link from another blog /site to our blog/site without we have to linking back to their blog/site.
3. Natural backlink. This is almost the same with one-way backlink which a link gives to a blog/site without any requested before. Natural backlink usually placed inside and as part of sentence (not in the bloglist/blogroll) and not come from the same IP.
4. Deep linking. This is a link which given to the blog/site post and not to the homepage.
