He came to England by Media Sports Investments (MSI) after he was loaned to London club, West Ham United with his friend Carlos Teves. While MSI failed to bought West Ham United stake, the future of two young Argentina football players became unsure. Then Carlos Teves goes to Manchester United with permanent deal and Javier Mascherano has loaned to Liverpool FC.
By this deal Javier Mascherano is very happy. As he said to media "I am very, very happy and now I can concentrate just on playing football. I said all along that I wanted to stay at Liverpool, and now that I have signed I can say this is the best and the biggest moment in my career so far."
